Introduction
Welcome to Katalyst, a platform for connecting donors with impactful causes and Nonprofits. By using Katalyst, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use the site.
Services Provided
Katalyst facilitates a platform through which individual donors may contribute financial support to selected causes, specified Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), or designated Nonprofits of their choosing. All funds are distributed off-platform in partnership with the Greenville, SC United Way. Recipients of these funds are required to comply with transparency and performance standards established by their participation in the United Way network data-sharing program, as specified in a separate agreement to which Katalyst is not a party and holds no legal obligation.
Donations and Recurring Contributions
You may make a one-time donation or set up recurring monthly contributions to causes or Nonprofits. Donations toward specific KPIs are limited to set timeframes. Donors can access their donation history, including total giving by year and cause.
Account Registration
Creating an account is optional but provides access to additional features, such as viewing detailed giving history, generating tax statements, and managing recurring donations. Account verification is required via email for added security.
Payment Processing
Donations can be made using PayPal or credit card. Katalyst does not store your payment information, which is securely processed by our payment provider.
User Conduct
Users agree to use the platform responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws. Harassment, spamming, or inappropriate behavior may result in account suspension.
Privacy Policy
Katalyst’s Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information. By using the platform, you agree to this policy. Please refer to the Privacy Policy page for details.
DisclaimerofWarranties
Katalyst provides services “as-is” without any warranties. While we strive to ensure transparency and the effectiveness of causes, Katalyst cannot guarantee the outcome of any donation or the specific impact of your contribution.

Katalyst is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform or any service offered through it.

Katalyst reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the platform after modifications indicates your acceptance.
